A native of
Brewerton, New York, Kevin grew up among four siblings in the United Methodist
church. Nancy, Kevin’s wife, grew up in West Seneca, New York in a Roman
Catholic family. They both received Jesus as their Savior in their early 20’s.
Meeting in college, they were married in 1982.
Kevin received his B.S in Psychology with a minor in Native American Studies
from the State University of New York College at Oswego in 1983. He then went
on for an M.S. in School Psychology and Counseling. He worked for over 10 years
in New York as both a School Psychologist and a Director of School
Psychological Services.
They lived all over New York State and became parents when Kyle arrived in
1985. Zachary came along on New Year’s Day in 1990, but the Lord saw fit to
call him home in September of that year. Joshua joined the family in 1992 and
little sister Emily made her appearance in 1994.
Some time after Zachary’s passing; Kevin felt that God was calling him into
ministry. After years of prayer he and his family left upstate NY and headed to
Nyack, NY where Kevin enrolled in the Alliance Theological Seminary in 1998.
While there he pastored the West Hill Bible Church in Stamford, Connecticut.
After graduating with his Master of Divinity degree he and his family came to
Bethel, Maine in July of 2004 where he is now the Pastor of the Bethel Alliance
Church. Their children are all adults now. Kyle, who works in the coffee
industry, his wife, Paige, and their children, Leon & Noel, reside in Greenwich, CT. Joshua and his wife, Julia, live in Springfield, PA. Emily is working as a teacher.
Pastor Kevin has a variety of interests and hobbies
including hiking, fishing, fly tying and model trains. He loves the outdoors
and Bethel is the perfect place to enjoy the beauty of the earth that God
created. He also loves the community and the people who dwell here. Finally, he
also has a heart for Native American ministry.
