Bethel Alliance Church

Rev. Kevin Bellinger-Lead Pastor

A native of Brewerton, New York, Kevin grew up among four siblings in the United Methodist church. Nancy, Kevin’s wife, grew up in West Seneca, New York in a Roman Catholic family. They both received Jesus as their Savior in their early 20’s. Meeting in college, they were married in 1982.

Kevin received his B.S in Psychology with a minor in Native American Studies from the State University of New York College at Oswego in 1983. He then went on for an M.S. in School Psychology and Counseling. He worked for over 10 years in New York as both a School Psychologist and a Director of School Psychological Services.

They lived all over New York State and became parents when Kyle arrived in 1985. Zachary came along on New Year’s Day in 1990, but the Lord saw fit to call him home in September of that year. Joshua joined the family in 1992 and little sister Emily made her appearance in 1994.

Some time after Zachary’s passing; Kevin felt that God was calling him into ministry. After years of prayer he and his family left upstate NY and headed to Nyack, NY where Kevin enrolled in the Alliance Theological Seminary in 1998. While there he pastored the West Hill Bible Church in Stamford, Connecticut. After graduating with his Master of Divinity degree he and his family came to Bethel, Maine in July of 2004 where he is now the Pastor of the Bethel Alliance Church. Their children are all adults now. Kyle, who works in the coffee industry, his wife, Paige, and their children, Leon & Noel, reside in Greenwich, CT. Joshua and his wife, Julia, live in Springfield, PA. Emily is working as a teacher with the Christian and Missionary Alliance and serving in West Africa.

Pastor Kevin has a variety of interests and hobbies including hiking, fishing, fly tying and model trains. He loves the outdoors and Bethel is the perfect place to enjoy the beauty of the earth that God created. He also loves the community and the people who dwell here. Finally, he also has a heart for Native American ministry.

Kory Krusenstjerna-Youth/Worship Pastor

Born in Lynnwood Washington on the other side of the country; Kory was blessed to be raised in a Christian home with a twin brother and 3 sisters. In the summer of 2010, he accepted Christ as Savior at a Christian camp.

Not too long after becoming a Christian his family experienced some trials when his mother passed away in December 2011. This was a difficult time for him and his family, but ultimately God used it to strengthen their faith. In November of that year, Kory attended a youth conference that was focused on being the “one” to stand up for Christ. Feeling the call to serve God in full time ministry, he accepted that call.

Kory graduated from West Coast Baptist College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Education and Missions in 2019. He interned for his home church (Open Door Baptist Church) for three summers during college and then went on staff for about 3 years.

Kory made the move from Washington to Maine in January 2022 and is currently working at Bethel Alliance Church as the Youth/Worship Pastor. He and his wife, Deborah, just got married in August of 2022.

Some of his hobbies include playing guitar or any type of instrument. He also loves outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and kayaking. Finally, he has a passion to see young people follow the Lord and have a relationship with Christ.
